Lihu Chen is a Ph.D. student at Télécom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, under the supervision of Professor Fabian Suchanek and Gaël Varoquaux. In his thesis, the main research topic is entity disambiguation, which aims to develop a general, efficient, and robust entity linking system. He received his MSc degree in computer science from Beijing Jiaotong University. His research interests are in deep learning and natural language processing.

Chadi Helwe is a Ph.D. student at Télécom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, under the supervision of Professor Fabian Suchanek and Professor Chloé Clavel. In his thesis, he is investigating methods to combine symbolic and neural approaches for reasoning on natural language texts. He received his MSc degree in computer science from the American University of Beirut. His research interests are in machine learning, natural language processing, and biomedical imaging.

Pierre-Henri Paris is a post-doctoral researcher at Télécom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris. During his PhD thesis at CNAM/Sorbonne Université, he worked on contextual identity in knowledge graphs, and in particular on the conditions under which two entities can share a certain amount of information. As part of the NoRDF project, he works on knowledge representation formalisms for complex knowledge.

Julie Dessaint is an intern at Télécom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, under the supervision of Professor Fabian Suchanek and Professor Thomas Bonald. In her internship, she is investigating methods to extract and reason on natural language and complex information. She is a graduate of École polytechnique and received the Master Mathematics, Vision, Learning (MVA) from the Institut Polytechnique de Paris.

Paola Ortega is a Master’s student in Data and Artificial Intelligence at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris. Prior to this, she worked for 2 years as a data engineer, combining her background knowledge in computer science with data processing techniques. In her internship, she is developing a method to transform a long sentence in natural language to a set of shorter sentences that are semantically equivalent to the original.
